Apple may withdraw from the current round of financing negotiations with OpenAI, and Microsoft will increase its investment by $1 billion
ChainCatcher news, according to The Wall Street Journal, informed sources revealed that Apple (AAPL.O) recently withdrew from negotiations for OpenAI's current round of financing, which is set to conclude next week. Two other tech giants, Microsoft (MSFT.O) and Nvidia (NVDA.O), have been in talks to participate in this round of investment.
According to insiders, Microsoft is expected to invest about $1 billion, which is an additional investment on top of the $13 billion it has already invested.
It is reported that on August 30, Apple was negotiating to join OpenAI's new round of financing.
