According to ChainCatcher news, on-chain analyst Yu Jin monitored that an early whale, who accumulated 21,636 ETH at a price of $6.9 in 2016, recently sold 10,485 ETH for 27.53 million U in the past 5 days.
He acquired 21,636 ETH from ShapeShift and Poloniex in 2016, when the total value was only $149,800, at a price of $6.9. He remained dormant until May of this year when he woke up and began selling ETH for the first time: at that time, he sold 2,900 ETH at a price of $2,980 for 8.64 million LUSD. Including the ETH sold in the recent 5 days, he has now sold a total of 13,385 ETH for 36.17 million U, with an average selling price of $2,703.
In 8 years, the value has increased from the initial $149,800 to now $56.9 million.
