ChainCatcher news, according to the New York Post, U.S. police are investigating a shooting that occurred this week at the campaign office of Vice President Kamala Harris in Arizona.
According to the Tempe Police Department, gunfire damage was discovered at the Democratic National Committee campaign office located near South Tempe Avenue shortly after midnight on Monday.
Public Information Officer Sergeant Ryan Cook stated, "There was no one in the office at night, but this raised concerns for the safety of those working in the building and nearby individuals."
Police said detectives are analyzing evidence collected from the scene and have taken additional measures to enhance the safety of staff and surrounding individuals.
