Bitwise Chief Investment Officer: An increasing number of top financial advisors are allocating cryptocurrency assets in their personal investment portfolios
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated that an increasing number of top financial advisors are allocating cryptocurrency assets in their personal investment portfolios.
At the Barron's Advisor 100 Summit held in Florida last week, Hougan mentioned that about 70% of advisors own Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency assets, while in the previous two years, this figure was only 10%-20%.
Although many advisors' client accounts have not yet allocated Bitcoin, Hougan predicts that as advisors increase their personal allocations, client investments will follow closely behind, potentially seeing significant changes within 6 to 12 months. He believes this is an important signal of the financial industry's growing acceptance of cryptocurrency.
