Data: In the past 5 hours, Chainlink unlocked 18.75 million LINK and transferred 18.125 million to Binance
According to ChainCatcher's message, monitored by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, in the past 5 hours, Chainlink has unlocked and transferred 18.75 million LINK (worth $214.6 million) from 5 non-circulating supply addresses: among them, 18.125 million (worth $207.5 million) were transferred to Binance; 625,000 (worth $7.15 million) were sent to the 0xD50…8Af multi-signature address.
Every three months, approximately 20 million LINK from Chainlink's non-circulating supply addresses are unlocked and transferred out. Most of it goes directly to Binance, while a small portion is sent to the 0xD50…8Af address (the LINK sent to this address partially enters the LINK staking reward distribution contract, used to distribute rewards to stakers).
Since 2022, nearly 133.4 million LINK (worth $1.29 billion) have been unlocked and flowed into Binance through the aforementioned method, with an average transfer price of $9.69. Although a large amount of LINK is unlocked and flows into Binance quarterly, there has not been a significant drop in LINK's price after each transfer to Binance.
