Polygon Labs: Eggfruit upgrade has been launched on the testnet, and will go live on the mainnet in 10 days

According to ChainCatcher news, the official announcement states that the Polygon zkEVM testnet is about to welcome a brand new, higher-performing, and more stable sequencer. This significant technological breakthrough will not only benefit developers and dApps on Polygon zkEVM but will also have a profound impact on chains built using the Polygon CDK.

The upgrade named "Eggfruit" has gone live on the testnet today (September 20, 2024) and will officially be pushed to the mainnet test version after a 10-day lock-up period, on September 30. The Eggfruit upgrade will go live on the mainnet test version on September 30 (18:30 Beijing time), during which there will be approximately two hours of maintenance, and the Polygon zkEVM test version will be temporarily suspended.
