Data: Bhutan currently holds approximately 780 million US dollars in cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the total amount of cryptocurrency held by Bhutan's national investment department Druk Holding and Investments is approximately $780 million, which includes 13,029 BTC, 656 ETH, and more. These assets come from the Bitcoin mining operations conducted by Bhutan's investment agency Druk Holdings.
According to the World Bank, Bhutan's cryptocurrency reserves account for over 26.9% of its $2.9 billion GDP in 2023.
