The 196th Ethereum ACDE meeting: Code changes may be released on Devnet 3 in February next year
ChainCatcher news, Galaxy's Vice President of Research Christine Kim summarized the 196th Ethereum Core Developers Execution (ACDE) conference call. This week, developers discussed the issue of splitting the upgrade into two parts, which would allow for code changes to be released on Devnet 3 in a shorter time frame (possibly in February next year). Developers agreed to make a final decision on this in the next conference call.
EF Developer Operations Engineer shared the latest progress on cleaning up the Ethereum public testnet GitHub repository and restructuring it to improve usability. Pectra Devnet 3 was released on September 11, including fixes for validator merging in EIP 7251 and updates to the specification of EIP 7702.
