Multiple Democratic lawmakers held a private roundtable meeting with executives from the cryptocurrency industry to discuss Bitcoin-related issues

ChainCatcher news, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett revealed that on Wednesday afternoon, the crypto industry organization Digital Chamber and U.S. Congressman Wiley Nickel's office held a policy-focused private roundtable discussion specifically about Bitcoin.

The meeting was organized for House Democrats interested in learning more about the largest digital currency and its legislative framework. Attendees included eight Democratic House members (names not disclosed) and executives from Riot Platforms, Baker McKenzie, Auradine, TeraWulf, Sustainable BTC, and CleanSpark.

Reportedly, the topics discussed included using BTC to achieve financial inclusion, mining and energy sustainability, and competition with China. The meeting was productive, with members asking great questions, actively participating, and eager to learn.
