Data: After Binance launched the RPL contract, 200,000 RPL were sold off at 1kx, worth approximately 2.38 million USD

ChainCatcher news reports that, according to Ember monitoring, following Binance's announcement of the launch of the RPL contract, the price of RPL surged by 28%. The investment firm 1kx took this opportunity to sell 200,000 RPL, worth approximately $2.38 million. Data shows that 1kx has been frequently selling RPL through Amber Group recently.

In the past 12 days, the firm has transferred a total of 313,737 RPL (about $3.71 million) to Amber Group addresses, and these tokens subsequently entered Binance. As an investor in Rocket Pool, 1kx received an allocation of 570,393 RPL in December 2021 and staked all the tokens to Rocket Pool nodes in 2023.

Currently, 1kx still has 315,835 RPL (about $3.63 million) in a staked status.
