ChainCatcher news, former CEO of the cryptocurrency research and education platform Revelo Intel, Nick Drakon, stated on social media on September 5 that he was recently the victim of a "highly professional" armed robbery, which forced him to transfer personal, company, and investor funds, and subsequently announced his resignation. Drakon mentioned that the robbers were particularly interested in cryptocurrency assets and were aware of the deposit addresses of the crypto business he operated, taking away his personal funds, Revelo's operating funds, retained earnings, and funds from the company's investment division, Revelo Ventures.

He suspects that insiders at Revelo Ventures may have been involved, but did not disclose further details for security reasons. To compensate for the losses, Drakon has relinquished his equity in Revelo, and 30% of the company's profits will be used to compensate affected members. Former COO Vu Benson will take over as the new CEO of Revelo Intel.
