ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, security company Gen Digital stated that it is currently monitoring an organization called "CryptoCore," which uses AI-driven deepfake scams to deceive cryptocurrency holders. This organization profits by peddling fake cryptocurrency investments, leveraging official videos of well-known figures such as Elon Musk, Michael Saylor, Vitalik Buterin, and Larry Fink. They replace audio with AI-generated voices or mix unofficial materials with official videos to carry out their scams.

Gen Digital reported that this criminal organization spreads its videos on social media platforms like YouTube, X, and TikTok. The scammers also use hacked social media accounts with a large number of followers and then conduct live streams to promote their scams.
