Web3 developer D20 Labs acquires Zynga's Web3 game Sugartown

The company revealed that it has sold "all products and assets" of the game to Web3 developer D20 Labs, with the specific sale amount not disclosed. Zynga first launched Sugartown last year, developing the game using Web3 and blockchain technology. The head of D2 marketing pointed out that the studio is entirely composed of Zynga's former Web3 team, and this handover has been in preparation for months, with plans to continue the original game's Web3 team's initiatives.
