Kamino: Plans to release version V2 with a modular design and improved clearing mechanism
ChainCatcher news, the Solana lending protocol Kamino is expected to release its V2 version in the fourth quarter of this year. This version adopts a modular approach at the market layer to support a wide range of assets, and the new yield layer Vault Layer introduces automated single-asset lending, combining market liquidity to provide risk-optimized yields.
On the liquidation engine, Kamino V2 employs an oracle mechanism to protect users from unnecessary liquidations, and combines liquidation auctions to reduce liquidation penalties. It also allows for isolation or mixed mode options in the lending model. Additionally, the V2 version introduces Multiply's automatic unstaking and spot leverage features.
