ChainCatcher message, Dash officially announced that its Evolution chain has been officially launched and is now producing blocks. The Evolution chain has begun executing data contracts and sending files to decentralized storage. Evolution is a decentralized application platform that allows developers to build applications based on fast, easy, and reliable decentralized data access. The platform consists of four main elements: Platform chain, data contracts, data storage, and decentralized API (DAPI). The initial applications of Evolution include Dash Platform Name Service (DPNS) and DashPay payment application contracts, aimed at providing users with a more intuitive payment experience while ensuring data ownership and privacy.

Dash stated that the Genesis version includes all the aforementioned features as well as NFT support, and will further improve network stability, launch DPNS and DashPay, and develop support for alternative tokens and increase throughput in the future.
