Pudgy Penguins CEO: The cryptocurrency industry is similar to the early 2000s and has reached a moment of mainstream adoption

- Stage One: Discretionary spending;
- Stage Two: Necessary spending;
- Stage Three: Essential spending.
For the past decade, the adoption power of consumers has been in the hands of blockchain companies that have raised hundreds of billions of dollars to further drive adoption, but mass market penetration and fragmentation have not been parallel. The universal approach is ambitious, but the effort required to achieve it is enormous. The cryptocurrency industry is now at a crossroads similar to the internet boom of the early 2000s. After building infrastructure for 10 years, it is time for the industry to break through and enter the mainstream market."
