ChainCatcher news, Messari released the LayerZero Q2 2024 status report, LayerZero added support for 12 networks, facilitating the transfer of $5 billion in crypto assets, with the average transaction value increasing by 78% to over $400. The Ethereum network's transaction volume grew by 26% month-over-month, reaching $913 million, mainly due to the Dencun upgrade that reduced gas fees and the introduction of full-chain re-staking. On June 20, LayerZero airdropped ZRO tokens to 1.28 million eligible wallets, employing anti-witch attack measures and a "proof of donation" mechanism. In the second quarter, the number of full-chain applications (OApp) contract deployments supported by LayerZero exceeded 50,000, covering various fields such as gaming, DeFi, and AI. LayerZero currently supports secure communication across over 80 networks, providing interoperability solutions for full-chain applications.
