Anthropic is developing an efficient hierarchical structure for enterprises through an artificial intelligence model network
ChainCatcher news, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei stated that the future of artificial intelligence may involve more optimization of corporate structures rather than a robot uprising.
Amodei recently discussed the future of AI during an interview on the Econ 102 podcast, covering various aspects including military applications of AI and the replacement of human workers by more efficient machines. Amodei talked about internal efforts within the company to develop efficient hierarchical structures to accomplish tasks through a network of AI models. The current idea seems to involve a collective of AIs capable of networking to complete specific tasks. The basic premise will involve "large models orchestrating smaller models."
Amodei added that larger models would create hundreds of smaller, faster, and more efficient models to perform tasks. He used the analogy of worker bees supporting the queen bee, but what he described sounds very much like typical corporate infrastructure. It points out that the benefits of this design could mean that end users at every level can access the specific functionalities they need through a simple user interface.
