Trump: If Meta's chairman obstructs the U.S. presidential election again, he will "spend a long time in prison."
ChainCatcher news, according to POLITICO, former U.S. President Donald Trump writes in his upcoming book set to be published next week that Meta Chairman Mark Zuckerberg conspired against him during the 2020 U.S. election and stated that if Zuckerberg does it again, he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
This represents Trump's latest attack on Zuckerberg, whom he has repeatedly accused of interfering in the last U.S. presidential election. This statement also comes in the context of Meta taking measures to assure conservatives that it will not influence this year's campaign.
"Save America" is a book written by Trump, set to be published on September 3, which includes an undated photo of Trump meeting with Zuckerberg at the White House. Trump mentions that Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan donated $420 million during the 2020 election to fund election infrastructure.
A Meta spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
