ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Google announced that it will re-allow certain users to use its AI model to generate images of people after the controversy surrounding its image generation tool earlier this year.

In February, Google faced criticism for its image generation tool displaying historically inaccurate scenes, leading to the suspension of the feature.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated at the time that this situation was "completely unacceptable." Now, Google will gradually reintroduce this feature to English users of its Gemini Advanced product, with enterprise users also gaining access in the coming days.

Google emphasized that it has made technical improvements to the AI model and has implemented strict evaluations and restrictions on the generated images to avoid any inappropriate situations in the future.
