ChainCatcher news, according to sources from the French newspaper Canard Chain de l'Elysée, Telegram founder Durov told the police that he was supposed to have dinner with French President Macron on the day he was arrested.
The Paris officials denied this news. French politician Florian Philippot expressed skepticism about Macron's statement and stated on social media X that the president could very well carry out such a deception to fulfill the "master's task." He also demanded an explanation from Macron.
