ChainCatcher news, the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Aprobit has announced its closure, with trading set to stop on September 23 and withdrawals available until December 23.
Aprobit stated: "Due to changes in the business environment, we have decided to terminate trading support, and we will do our utmost to ensure that all users do not encounter any inconvenience when refunding their assets deposited on the exchange, even after trading support ends."
It is reported that only half of the 22 cryptocurrency exchanges registered as virtual asset operators in South Korea are currently in operation.
