Analysis: Block's Bitcoin sales profit in 2024 is expected to reach 10 billion dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to analysis by HODL15Capital, the payment service provider Block, founded by Twitter's Jack Dorsey, reported that as of June 30, its Bitcoin revenue reached $5.34 billion. If this pace continues, it is expected to sell $10 billion worth of Bitcoin this year. Note: Bitcoin revenue refers to the total sales of cryptocurrency sold to customers.
It is reported that the payment service provider Block's net revenue for the second quarter was $6.16 billion, while the market expected $6.27 billion, compared to $5.535 billion in the same period last year; the adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter was $759 million, with analysts expecting $685.7 million; the Bitcoin revenue for the second quarter was $2.61 billion, with analysts expecting $2.73 billion. The adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter is expected to be $695 million, with analysts expecting $669.5 million; the adjusted EBITDA for the full year is expected to be $2.9 billion, up from a previous estimate of $2.76 billion, with analysts expecting $2.8 billion.
