The author of "Avalanche" has partnered with the special effects company Wētā Workshop to launch the metaverse project Artefact

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, "Snow Crash" author Neal Stephenson has partnered with his co-created blockchain platform Lamina1 and Wētā Workshop to launch the metaverse project Artefact. Wētā Workshop is the special effects company behind films such as "The Lord of the Rings" and "Avatar."

It is reported that this new project aims to develop intellectual property (IP) for a blockchain-driven metaverse. The platform also plans to include features such as digital ownership of items, exploration mechanisms, co-creation opportunities, and AI-driven tool integration.
