Tanssi Foundation announced the expansion of the Tanssi blockchain infrastructure protocol to Ethereum, enabling the rapid launch of decentralized networks—also known as Active Validation Services (AVS)—in just a few minutes. This expansion is driven by a strategic partnership with the leading permissionless re-staking protocol Symbiotic, which will allow developers to deploy highly customizable decentralized networks that fully leverage Ethereum's robust security.

While Rollup technology has played a significant role in scaling Ethereum, it may fall short when strong decentralization, customization, or interoperability is required. Decentralized networks (i.e., AVS) overcome these shortcomings by providing more flexible and diverse solutions. Developers can directly access Ethereum's shared security through re-staking, which has an ETH value exceeding $45 billion. However, networks using re-staking security remain an emerging and complex technology, often requiring months to launch due to infrastructure demands, ongoing management, and resource requirements.

Tanssi significantly simplifies this process, reducing the launch time from months to minutes and optimizing management, making it easier for builders to deploy and maintain decentralized networks in customizable environments. This approach not only streamlines the development process but also accelerates time-to-market, allowing projects to reach users faster.

By leveraging Symbiotic's re-staking protocol, Tanssi enables networks on Ethereum to easily access billions of dollars in staked ETH shared security. This method enhances decentralization by providing a permissionless shared operator network, ensuring rapid transaction finality and avoiding reliance on a single sequencer.

The Active Validation Services (AVS) based on Tanssi are blockchain systems that utilize Ethereum's shared security, enabling developers to create highly customizable protocols. These protocols include application-specific blockchains, alternative virtual machines, bridges, data availability layers, and more, providing developers with tools to address use cases that traditional Rollup architectures cannot effectively meet.
