Tether minted 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network early this morning, which has been authorized but not issued
ChainCatcher news, according to WhaleAlert monitoring, around 1:54 AM Beijing time today, Tether Treasury minted 1,000,000,000 USDT on the Ethereum network.
In response, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this issuance of 1 billion USDT is a supplement to the inventory on the Tron network. This is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning that this increase will be used for the next issuance requests and cross-chain exchange inventory.
