SkyBridge Capital founder: Harris may lose the U.S. election for failing to attract voters who support cryptocurrency
ChainCatcher news, SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci stated in an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph that presidential candidate Kamala Harris may lose the U.S. election due to her failure to attract cryptocurrency-supporting voters.
Scaramucci believes that even if there are only 25 million cryptocurrency holders in the U.S., 5% of single-issue voters could influence the election results in swing states.
As the former White House Communications Director under the Trump administration, Scaramucci acknowledged that the Democratic Party's stance on the crypto industry is a "disaster." However, despite the fact that most of the crypto community seems to support Trump due to his pro-crypto position, Scaramucci believes that Trump is not the ideal candidate for the crypto space.
He stated that Trump is someone who is extremely transactional, supporting crypto today but potentially not supporting it tomorrow. Scaramucci believes that Trump's goal is to create an "oligopoly," which would undermine the U.S. capital markets and its position in the world.
