Since its establishment in 2021, AP Capital (IBGTG) has been dedicated to discovering and supporting Web3 projects with disruptive potential, with a mission to support early projects that can shape the future of finance and infrastructure, establishing an innovative and efficient one-stop investment platform. IBGTG has achieved impressive results in two key investment areas—BTC Layer2 and DePIN.
AP Capital is based in the United States, with a presence in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and has established close partnerships with various investment institutions and Web3 companies both domestically and internationally. AP Capital is not just investing in projects but also in the future of the decentralized world. BTC Layer2 and DePIN are just the beginning of AP's journey, with the goal of helping to build a safer, more efficient, and more decentralized global infrastructure.
The second speaker was Alan WU from Geek Accelerator, a subsidiary of AP. His topic was "Mission & Vision of Geek Accelerator in the Context of Web3 + AI." Alan first reviewed the development trends of Web3, blockchain, and the metaverse, as well as the underlying logic of empowering the real economy. He pointed out that under the national strategy to vigorously promote the digital economy and AI empowerment across various industries, big data and computing power have become the core competitiveness and assets of enterprises. As the DePIN track with the most practical applications in Web3, high-quality projects such as IoTX, Helium, Filecoin, and Network 3 have emerged. Geek Accelerator will continue to focus on and incubate potential projects in the DePIN track, providing a solid foundation and inexhaustible motivation for AI empowerment of the real economy and building new productive forces!
Next was the online speaking session. The first guest connected was Leanid from Network3, who presented on "How Edge AI Changes the World?" discussing how edge AI is transforming the world. He explained how Network3 builds AI Layer2 and helps AI developers around the world to quickly, conveniently, and efficiently train or validate models on a large scale, enhancing developers' accessibility to Web3 & AI technologies and promoting their widespread application.
The second guest was the heavyweight speaker, Hara, CEO of Janction. He introduced the background and development of the Janction project.
Next, Jessica, COO of EC3, connected with the theme "Decentralized Energy Network Coalesced by People," introducing how a decentralized energy network is built by people. Ec³ is a decentralized energy network co-created by people. Based on Peaq Network, it combines energy tokenization with low-carbon mining solutions and enhanced incentives. It has developed hardware devices called Energy Plug and a software application called Ec³ APP, creating a DePIN focused on collecting users' electricity data and monitoring the safety of their electricity environment. Ec³ has received funding from well-known projects or companies such as Peaq Network and Waterdrip Capital. The team plans to launch the public sale of Energy Plug in the third quarter of 2024.
Kelly from WatchX Network then connected live, discussing "Mainstream Narrative: Mass Adoption," exploring mainstream narratives and the state of mass adoption. She pointed out that the mainstream narrative of blockchain and Web3 is gradually maturing and beginning to influence public perception. Although challenges remain in the adoption process, with technological advancements and ecosystem improvements, this field is expected to see broader applications and development in the future.
