ChainCatcher news, the latest buyer of CryptoPunk 5822, which was sold today, is suspected to have revealed their identity on X as KOL collector VOMBATUS, while the seller is Chain's CEO Deepak Thapliyal. Additionally, VOMBATUS disclosed that the transaction price was 1500 ETH.

Previous news, CryptoPunk 5822 was sold today at an undisclosed price and is currently held by an address starting with 0xc121. CryptoPunk 5822 is one of the 9 alien Punks and was sold in 2022 for 23.7 million dollars, setting the record for the highest PFP sale in history.
