Jupiter Co-founder: Plans to display certification icons for tokens verified by the team or community
ChainCatcher news, Jupiter co-founder Meow posted on social media that based on community feedback, they plan to display a (less "dangerous") certification icon for all tokens verified by the team or community, including USDC and USDT.
In addition, the Mouseover Copy will be updated to better explain why certain tokens may require freeze permissions. If freeze powers exist, the verification threshold should be higher than when there are no freeze powers.
These measures are fair for all tokens and need to maintain security, as the vast majority of scam tokens cannot be verified, while also avoiding causing panic among most users. This will also promote important education about how tokens operate.
