ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, based on documents from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) website, Nasdaq has withdrawn two applications for the listing and trading of Bitcoin spot and Ethereum spot ETF options. The New York Stock Exchange also withdrew the listing and trading applications for Bitwise and Grayscale Bitcoin spot ETF options on the same day.

Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart stated that he expects Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange to resubmit applications for the listing of Bitcoin spot ETF options in the coming days or weeks.

Last week, other exchanges also withdrew similar applications. MIAX, MIAX Pearl, and BOX Exchange withdrew their proposals for listing Bitcoin spot ETF options, and the Chicago Board Options Exchange also withdrew its application for Bitcoin spot ETF options listing but later resubmitted it. The SEC has not yet approved the trading of options products based on Bitcoin spot and Ethereum spot ETFs.
