Circle CEO: The Tap-to-Pay feature supporting USDC on iPhone may appear soon
ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, after Apple decided to open up the NFC payment functionality of the iPhone to third-party developers, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire predicted that the Tap-to-Pay feature using Circle's stablecoin USDC on the iPhone will "arrive soon."
However, he later clarified that Circle has no relationship with Apple and is not related to Apple Pay, explaining that Apple's move to open up NFC will allow Web3 and crypto wallets to "call NFC for transactions."
