On August 11, BitGo announced a joint venture with BiT Global to transfer WBTC to a new jurisdiction for custody, prompting some protocols and institutions to stop using WBTC due to potential risks. The next day, the address began to withdraw a large amount of WBTC from Binance, with a cumulative withdrawal average price of $58,920.
