ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, a document dated August 13 shows that the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Arca electronic trading platform has withdrawn a proposed rule change made in January this year that would allow the listing and trading of options based on commodity trusts, including options based on cryptocurrency ETFs like Grayscale's GBTC. This is the latest in a series of regulatory activities surrounding cryptocurrency ETF options.

Previous news, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has withdrawn its original application for spot Bitcoin ETF options and submitted a more comprehensive version.
