CoinShares Weekly Report: Last week, digital asset investment products saw inflows of $176 million

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinShares' latest weekly report, the total inflow of digital asset investment products reached $176 million last week. The trading activity of ETPs was far above normal, with $19 billion this week, while the average weekly trading volume so far this year has been $14 billion.

Ethereum attracted $155 million in inflows last week. This brings its total inflow for the year to $862 million, the highest level since 2021, mainly due to the recently launched U.S. spot ETF.

Bitcoin experienced outflows at the beginning of the week, but saw significant inflows in the last few days, bringing the total inflow for the week to $13 million. The short Bitcoin ETP experienced its largest outflow since May 2023, totaling $16 million (23% of assets under management), reducing the assets under management of short positions to the lowest level since the beginning of the year, indicating a significant exit of investors.
