In July of this year, Atari first announced its collaboration with Base, releasing a blockchain version of its iconic video game Asteroids. Like Asteroids, players need to connect their Coinbase, MetaMask, Rainbow, or WalletConnect wallets to play the game and mint the Breakout NFT for 0.0015 ETH (approximately $3.6), with minting proceeds distributed to the developers and artists of each game.
