Ripple: Has launched the stablecoin RLUSD test on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum mainnet

ChainCatcher message, Ripple announced on social media that the stablecoin Ripple USD (RLUSD) is now in Beta testing on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum mainnet. However, RLUSD has not yet received regulatory approval, so it cannot be purchased or traded. The community should be wary of fraudsters claiming to own or distribute Ripple USD.

Ripple stated that RLUSD is valued at a 1:1 ratio with the US dollar (USD) and is 100% backed by US dollar deposits, short-term US government bonds, and other cash equivalents. These reserve assets will be audited by a third-party accounting firm, and Ripple will publish proof monthly.
