The Casper security incident has been resolved, and the network is back up and running
ChainCatcher message, Casper posted on X that the chain has restored consensus and network transactions are being validated.
On July 31, 2024, at 15:18 (UTC), 64 validators (representing 85% of staked CSPR on the Casper network) unanimously agreed to resume validation. Thanks to the efforts of validators, engineers, and other parties, the Casper network is fully operational, and the security incident has been resolved.
