Taiko clarifies: No Taiko entity has sent any tokens to the Ethereum Foundation

ChainCatcher message, based on zkRollup Ethereum Layer2 network Taiko stated on platform X: "In a recent series of media articles, some claimed that the Ethereum Foundation abandoned Taiko by selling tokens. We are dissatisfied with the way these articles were published, as they did not attempt to contact Taiko for verification before release. No entity of Taiko has ever sent any tokens to the Ethereum Foundation.

We want to emphasize that Taiko maintains a close collaborative relationship with the Ethereum Foundation, as we are the first Base Rollup. From the very beginning, we have adhered to this principle and will not change. In fact, at the recent EthCC event, during a keynote speech by Vitalik, we were labeled as 'EVM purists', which further confirms the connection between Taiko and the Ethereum Foundation."
