Quicknode Vice President: ZK Rollups are a foundational technology, not a fleeting trend
ChainCatcher news, according to News.bitcoin, Web3 developer Quicknode's Vice President of Products Josh Neuroth stated that ZK Rollups provide tangible benefits in transaction throughput and data confidentiality, making these L2 solutions more of a foundational technology rather than a fleeting trend. Furthermore, as the technology behind these L2 solutions matures, more projects are adopting them, and the Web3 space may witness lasting improvements in blockchain performance and user experience.
Meanwhile, Neuroth expressed his agreement with Bitcoin extremist David Sorey's view that ZK Rollups are a missing piece in the Bitcoin network's scalability and privacy. He explained that ZK Rollups ultimately "help Bitcoin overcome its current limitations and compete with other blockchain networks that offer advanced features."
