ChainCatcher news, according to Watcher.Guru, the state of Michigan in the United States has included Bitcoin ETFs in its pension fund and disclosed a purchase of $6.6 million.
In addition, according to financial data platform Fintel, the Michigan pension fund bought 110,000 shares of the ARKB Bitcoin spot ETF in the second quarter, valued at approximately $6.6 million.
Previously reported, Steven Fulop, the mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey, announced on Thursday that the city's pension fund will allocate a certain percentage of its investments to Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
