Lin Chen: On Deribit, bought large BTC options for the end of the year with a strike price of $65,000 and sold call options with a strike price of $100,000, totaling 413 BTC
ChainCatcher news, Lin Chen, the Head of APAC Business at Deribit, posted on platform X that today the largest BTC block options transaction involved a user purchasing a call option for $65,000 expiring at the end of the year and selling a call option for $100,000 expiring at the end of the year, totaling 413 BTC, with a premium payment of $3.627 million. This long-term bullish strategy, through a buy-sell bull spread, reduces costs (leveraging) for going long, and as long as the price at expiration is above $75,000 (the breakeven point), it will be profitable.
