Spectra: Stolen loss of 168 ETH, has resumed operations and is seeking to recover 90% of the funds
ChainCatcher news, the decentralized yield protocol Spectra has released a security incident analysis report stating that in this incident, the attacker hijacked user transactions on Spectra, affecting a total of 4 wallets and resulting in a loss of approximately 168 ETH. The core protocol contract of Spectra remains unaffected, and the funds within the contract are secure. The application was restored on the morning of July 24.
The team has contacted relevant authorities and third parties, including trading platforms and third-party security companies, seeking their support in tracking and recovering the funds. Spectra has sent an on-chain message to the hacker, allowing them to return 90% and keep 10% of the funds, after which there will be no further accountability.
