Galaxy Digital acquires CryptoManufaktur for approximately $1 billion in Ethereum assets

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the crypto company Galaxy Digital announced the acquisition of almost all Ethereum assets from blockchain node operator CryptoManufaktur LLC (CMF). The deal involves approximately $1 billion in Ethereum assets, increasing the Ethereum assets staked by Galaxy by about 43%, bringing the total assets to $3.3 billion.

CryptoManufaktur founder Thorsten Behrens will join Galaxy's blockchain infrastructure team to provide staking and blockchain validator services for qualified investors, protocols, and digital asset platforms. Zane Glauber, head of Galaxy's blockchain infrastructure team, stated, "Galaxy is rapidly expanding its blockchain infrastructure and staking capabilities, and the acquisition of CMF is an important milestone in enhancing our position as a technology partner for protocols and developers."
