Trump: Does not want China and other countries to take over the cryptocurrency industry

ChainCatcher news, former President Donald Trump revealed in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek that he turned to embrace the cryptocurrency industry because "if we don't, China will take over, or other countries, but most likely China. China is very focused on this."

Trump stated that the U.S. cryptocurrency industry "has a good foundation. It's still a baby now. But I don't want other countries to take over this field."

Additionally, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, new data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) shows that approximately $3 million of the roughly $331 million raised by Trump's campaign last quarter came from cryptocurrency.
