Cosmos Hub: The fee market module integration has been completed and will be introduced in the Gaia v18 version
ChainCatcher news, Cosmos Hub posted on X that the community previously voted to introduce the fee market module (Proposal 842) to Cosmos Hub.
The team has now completed the integration, which will be part of the Gaia v18 release. It will provide an adaptive fee market and also support ATOM burning. The new fee market mechanism will only start adjusting fees when block capacity usage exceeds 50%. In simple terms, fees will only increase when block usage exceeds 15 million Gas units.
