Paradigm poll: Trump's support for cryptocurrency makes 13% of Republicans who "will never support" him potentially vote for him
ChainCatcher news, in June this year, Paradigm conducted its first poll of Republican voters and recently released the results report. The report states that Republicans strongly support achieving financial freedom through cryptocurrency and oppose centralized control such as Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
Among them, 28% of Republicans own or have purchased cryptocurrency, which is above the national average. Young and non-white Republicans are key demographics, with 41% of non-white and 45% of Republicans under 40 owning cryptocurrency.
67% of Republican voters expressed dissatisfaction with the current functioning of the U.S. financial system, and 72% are concerned about losing access to financial services. Republicans are very concerned about financial privacy, with 94% of respondents opposing oversight by the IRS and CBDCs.
Currently, Republicans tend to favor Congress establishing clear cryptocurrency regulations, with 60% advocating for legislative action. Donald Trump's support for cryptocurrency makes 13% of Republicans who "would never support Trump" more likely to vote for him.
