Sources: Ethereum ETF issuers are waiting for the SEC to provide details on the final documents
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, sources say that Ethereum ETF issuers are waiting for the SEC to provide details on the final documents.
A source from one of the issuers stated, "The next step is to wait for the SEC's feedback to see what to do next. Do they need a final draft? When do they need it?" They noted that the SEC's upcoming feedback will be highly valuable.
After their 19b-4 form was approved in May, they have been in the second part of a two-step process: negotiating the S-1 form back and forth with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Unlike the first form, the S-1 form does not have a deadline for effectiveness, but it still needs to be submitted before the ETF officially launches. The SEC has provided multiple rounds of comments for the issuer to modify the form, with each round taking several weeks. However, the issuer is beginning to hope that this process may be nearing its end.
A source from another issuer stated, "The SEC is continuing its review, and we seem to be getting closer to final approval. We expect there will be a final document, but the specific timing is still unclear."
