Bitwise CIO: BTC may rise to $100,000 by the end of the year, and ETH will also reach a new all-time high
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan stated that the current selling pressure is a one-time event, causing a short-term liquidity shock, and the typically low liquidity seasonal period for cryptocurrencies is about to end.
In contrast, the inflow of Bitcoin spot ETFs, the Bitcoin halving, the shift in political attitudes towards Ethereum spot ETFs, and the prospects of Federal Reserve rate cuts all create a better long-term environment for cryptocurrencies. Coupled with the strong growth of the stablecoin market, Layer 2 development, and increasing participation from institutions like BlackRock, the right development mix in the second half of the year could easily push Bitcoin to $100,000 and drive ETH to new all-time highs.
