io.net: Apple M chip devices will be temporarily removed from the list of supported devices

ChainCatcher message, io.net officially stated that Apple M chip devices will be temporarily removed from the list of supported devices, with support for M series chip computers, including M2 and M3, ending on July 15. Support for M2 Ultra and M3 devices will continue until the end of this month.

In the short term, io.net must prioritize managing supply and reducing the impact of emissions on the network. Based on discussions with current and potential customers, prioritizing GPUs and providing incentives for high-demand GPUs is crucial for the sustainability of the network. All rewards for M series chips will be transferred to eligible GPUs.

If demand or utilization opportunities for M series chips arise in the future, support will be restored. The team will carefully reassess this situation monthly and restore support for more devices as soon as feasible.
